Monaco is one of the most famous and glamorous motor racing circuits in the world. The Monaco Grand Prix takes place on the streets of Monte Carlo and La Condamine, using public roads that are transformed into a race track each year. First held in 1929, the event is one of the oldest and most prestigious races in Formula One. The circuit is known for being very narrow, slow, and technically demanding, with almost no room for mistakes. Famous sections include Sainte Dévote, Casino Square, the Fairmont Hairpin, the Tunnel, and the Swimming Pool complex. Overtaking is very difficult, so qualifying and strategy are especially important. Today, Monaco remains one of motorsport’s most iconic venues, combining history, precision driving, and a unique city setting.
