Racing Bulls is the latest identity of Red Bull’s second Formula 1 team, based around the old Minardi operation in Faenza. Minardi competed from 1985 to 2005 and was known more for resourcefulness and driver development than major results. Red Bull bought the team and relaunched it as Toro Rosso in 2006, using it as a place for young Red Bull-backed drivers to gain F1 experience. Its standout result came at Monza in 2008, when Sebastian Vettel took the team’s first pole and win before later moving to Red Bull Racing and becoming a multiple world champion.
