This is my first blog post of 2010 but I will make sure I get back to regular posts again now.
It has been quite a busy start to 2010 even though I don’t start racing for a couple more months yet.
The biggest thing so far and a huge honour, was being asked to take part [...]

On the 18th and 19th of January I attended the Porsche performance centre at Silverstone to work with the top fitness coaches in the sport (who train the likes of Mark Webber and Jenson Button). As part of the Advanced Apprenticeship in Sporting Excellence (AASE) I did various different fitness tests – which was very [...]

Its been over 4 months since my last blog, and a tough 4 months at that. After winning the championship with 2 rounds remaining, I had to give my seat up to the car owners son. This meant that I sat out Round 7 of the championship. The only good thing, was to see my [...]

2nd In the top 50.
I had a great suprise this week to see in this weeks Motorsport News that I had been voted 2nd in the top 50 of drivers to look out for in 2010!
After a season of struggling for a budget in British Formula Ford, at times with very limited testing with an old [...]

Happy new year from Mexico!
The 2010 NASCAR Corona Series schedule was released yesterday, with 14 races scheduled to take place in 8 different cities throughout Mexico. One of the highlights of the schedule is announcement of the first-ever night race in the history of the Mexican stock car series.
I am currently working on sponsorship deals [...]

This is due to human error from yours truly (yeah, I'm not going to blame a technical error). To make things work all the recent back ups were corrupt which seems oddly familiar to a data loss we had a few years ago if anyone of you remember. The slightly good thing about this is that it's only the names of the recently added drivers that are missing and no results. This means that we should be able to reconstruct the missing drivers with a little bit of joint detective work by all members. All drivers who disappeared are now called DRIVER DATA MISSING! so they should be easy to spot in the championship tables. Every member is highly encouraged to try and figure out the name of the driver if you spot one missing while browsing the site. » read moreMissing drivers countdown: 64The latest racing newsIf you would like to have your press releases displayed here simply send them to press@driverdb.com. Only press releases in English and with team or driver news will be published.
As you might have noticed there’s been very few news items published lately. That’s because I’m currently working on some major changes to Driver Database. In short, I can no longer spend a few hours per day adding press releases to drivers and companies for free. During 2010 and beyond the publishing of press releases for drivers, teams and other companies will only be made for people with premier driver or company accounts. Details on that will follow later.
The premier driver accounts will have lots of other goodies as well... :)... » read more
Meezer Racing Driver Coach Malcolm Edeson had already done some laps of the circuit so knew what to expect "it’s very technical and very different to anything else in the Middle-East, the cambers and elevation changes will be a real challenge for all drivers"
Bahraini Raed Raffii, representing leading motorsport solutions specialists Meezer Group, showed his unlimited potential over the past weekend by taking a double podium, including a fantastic victory, in the second round of the Chevrolet Supercars Middle East Championship at Bahrain International Circuit (BIC).
Raed, sponsored by Tamooz and Batelco, upstaged the nearly 20-car field of more experienced regional talent with third place in race one and then a dominant win in race two. The 20-year-old was in fine form from the very moment he stepped into the car for the first session of practices on Frid... » read more
