Mixed fortunes for Carlin drivers in Hockenheim
Fri 17, Oct, 2014

Jordan King will start all three of this weekend’s FIA Formula 3 European Championship races in the top five after a busy day of track action at the Hockenheimring in Germany. Team mate Jake Dennis endured a torrid day however, the Racing Steps Foundation driver suffered an engine issue in practice earlier today and the resulting engine change means a 10 place grid penalty for the British driver for all three races this weekend. Ed Jones will start races one and three from 11th and race two from 14th on the grid.

“I’m relatively happy with qualifying today”, said Jordan King. “In the second session I didn’t bring in my second set of tyres quite so well and the balance wasn’t quite as good, but overall I’m happy to be starting in the top five for all races. There’s plenty we can do from there.”
