Blok competing in the Formula 2000 Canadian Championship Series
Mon 27, Apr, 2015

Nathan Blok, the 21-year old, two-time Formula Tour Series Champion and resident of Beachburg ON, returns to the race track in the new revitalized Formula 2000 Canadian Championship series.

The first and second round will take place the May 2nd, 3rd weekend at the Canadian Tire Motorsport Park (formerly Mosport) at the BEMC Spring Trophy Races.

Blok will be teaming up again with the championship winning team BritianWest Motorsports in car No. 88, and is looking forward to competing at this historic and prestigious track.

Although he faces the daunting task of learning a new course again this year, Nathan Blok is feeling confident coming off a top 10 finish at the Toronto Indy in the highly competitive USF2000 series last year.  He is no stranger to driving competitively in both closed and open-wheel cars on untried tracks having experience in a number of disciplines from Formula 1600 to Formula 2000.

“I am really excited to be back with Britain West Motorsports and looking forward to getting behind the wheel of a F2000 again.  I am really gratefully for  the continued support of Tenaquip, Aurura Tools, Zenith Safety and all my current partners as well as my new partners Aikenhead's Drug Store and Belder Tools. Although at this point I only have enough to do a partial season I am very excited be at the first venue.   I have had very little practice time, but last Friday showed I didn't lose any speed since  Toronto and I am very confident and hungry for a good result this weekend.”
