Prema tests six drivers at Le Castellet

Three days of testing at Le Castellet for Prema and for all the Teams involved in the World Series Renault. This collective testing was held last week and the Vicenza based Team was present at the French track with six different drivers. At the first session, Prema tested Picho Tolenado, the young south American driver who received the test as a prize from Renault for his results in the PanAm Championship. Then, Prema focused on Mario Romancini (Brazilian driver from the F3 SudAm Championship), Simeon Ivanov (Bulgarian driver coming from the F.Renault 2.0), Renger Van der Zande (Dutch driver from the F3 Euro Series), Miguel Molina and Michael Herck, who both have experience in World Series. It was in fact with Herck that Prema obtained the absolute best lap time of the three days of testing with 1'15"570. Now the next event for Prema will be the collective test scheduled from the 28th to the 30th of November on the Spanish circuit of Valencia.

René Rosin Team Manager
"These have been three very productive days where we had the opportunity of testing some very interesting rookies and other drivers who already have experience in the series. The six drivers who tested with us, allowed us to gather important data and we could even consider some of these drivers for the next test at Valencia."

Driver Database is huge
December 2 2008
I started this site in 2004 with about 100 pages related to the Formula 1 drivers of the 2004 season. Now, more than four years later it has grown a bit. How big is it, you ask? Total number of pages: 210744 (at Dec 01) Size of text in database: 47.5 MB While 47.5 MB might not sound like much...
