Prema team mates involved in crash at Hungaroring
A crash between the two Prema cars driven by Carlos Munoz and Kazimieras Vasiliauskas marred the Hungarian weekend of the team in the second F. Renault Italia event held at Budapest. The Colombian youngster stalled at takeoff on Race 2, and was hit by Vasiliauskas who started from row 12. The Lituanian reported back pains and a sore foot, though he was completely conscious. After the first assistance given by the track's medical staff, he was admitted to hospital for further analysis. On Race 1, Vasiliauskas ended up in 15th after starting in 24th, while Patrick Reiterer recovered 12 spots by ending in 11th and Munoz was forced to retire at Lap 1. On Race 2, Reiterer managed to close the day in 13th.
Angelo Rosin - Team Principal
"We'll be releasing an update over the conditions of Kazimieras Vasiliauskas as soon as we'll have reliable news. He was very unlucky in finding his team-mate's car right in front of him in a very delicate moment. We're looking forward to a response from the doctors. He underwent controls in Budapest, then flied back to Lithuania to be treated by his own doctors. Back to the races, Reiterer did a good job by ending both of them in the points zone. I want to praise Vasiliauskas too for his great comeback on Race 1."

December 2 2008
I started this site in 2004 with about 100 pages related to the Formula 1 drivers of the 2004 season. Now, more than four years later it has grown a bit. How big is it, you ask? Total number of pages: 210744 (at Dec 01) Size of text in database: 47.5 MB While 47.5 MB might not sound like much...
