Piscopo to Champ Car Atlantics in 2008
Edoardo Piscopo finally made his choice for the 2008 Season. The Italian driver is set to enter next year's Champ Car Atlantic Series, partnering with Eurointernational. The team owned by Antonio Ferrari, that gave Edoardo the chance to debut in the American Formula BMW, is a first timer in the series too. At the same time, Edoardo will continue his partnership with the Italian A1GP Team.
"I'm very excited to be back with Eurointernational, as they gave me the first opportunity to step up from go-kart racing. The team - directed by Antonio Ferrari - is also a second family to me. The Champ Car Atlantic series proved to feature an high-level competition, but I'm excited by the new challenge; the United States are also a very fascinating country, and I think I'll have a good time there. The 2008 season will be tough, but we'll be starting to prepare early. We hope we'll have the chance to fight at the top; of course, testing will be vital, and we plan to start very soon...".

December 2 2008
I started this site in 2004 with about 100 pages related to the Formula 1 drivers of the 2004 season. Now, more than four years later it has grown a bit. How big is it, you ask? Total number of pages: 210744 (at Dec 01) Size of text in database: 47.5 MB While 47.5 MB might not sound like much...
