Italian Formula Renault takes a trip to Hungary
The Italian F.Renault will be visiting the Hungaroring for the first time this weekend, as the series faced a schedule change for 2008, with the inclusion of two trips to Eastern Europe. Together with Hungary, Czech Republic will join the list with an event starting on May 24-25 at Brno, in order to capitalize from the growing interest towards motorsports, and Prema is deeply involved in this vision by fielding young Lithuanian driver Kazimieras Vasiliauskas. A rookie to open-wheel racing, Vasiliauskas is coming directly from Karting to one of the most competitive series of the sport. The Italian squad will also field Colombian Carlos Munoz, together with Italian Patrick Reiterer. From a logistic point of view, the trip to Budapest will be particularly tough for everyone: less than a week passed since the last Eurocup event, held at Spa-Francorchamps.
