Christodoulou looking for Snetterton repeat

Lichfield single-seater ace, Adam Christodoulou, currently leading the Formula Renault UK Championship, is confident as he heads off to his favourite track for a two day gruelling test this coming Wednesday and Thursday 2nd / 3rd July.

Adam is high in demand at the moment, he has had to sacrifice competing next weekend in the 24-hour Le Mans karting endurance race to go to the British GP as a star guest of Panasonic Toyota F1.

Adam spent the day with Toyota yesterday whilst they were testing at Silverstone. They were so impressed with the young superstar that they have asked him back to the British GP.

The 19-year-old who is leading the Championship by 44-points after two podium places at the Silverstone world series race knows how important testing is especially when 3 races will be taking place at Snetterton in the second weekend of July.

Adams team, CR Scuderia, will be testing two engines in Adams car over the two-day test. Post Silverstone race tests confirmed that Adams gearbox had tightened and so the team will be using a new gearbox and testing many new elements on Adams car.

Adam said, 'I'm really looking forward to getting back in the car, it feels like ages since I was last in my formula Renault car even though it was only 3 weeks ago. I'm really excited about Snetterton testing, I gained a 2nd place in my Rookie year last year so I feel really confident about my 3 races here this year.'

Team Director, Andrew Kirkaldy said, 'The teams set up is spot on at Snetterton. We had some really promising results last year and with the quality of drivers this year I've no doubt that we'll produce some good results again. With the three races taking place at Snetterton and one on the Saturday it is vital the everything goes smoothly come race day.'

Rounds 10 will take place on Saturday 12th July and rounds 13 and 14 will take place on Sunday 13th July at 9.40am and 3.40pm, the final round will be televised on ITV 4.

A test server
September 15 2008
I've set up a test server for Driver Database now. It's my old computer which had a dying Windows XP install on it that got formatted and installed with Linux. It was about ten years ago I last used Linux so it did take me a while to get Apache, PHP, MySQL and FTP set up properly and importing the d...
