Adam Christodoulou gets F1 test invite

Adam Christodoulou has been invited to the official Toyota F1 team test next week at Silverstone.

Adam, who is currently leading the Formula Renault UK Championship, will meet the F1 team and spend the day at Silverstone during the official tests. Toyota F1 expressed an interest in meeting the Championship leader and have chosen the famous British circuit as an opportunity to get to know the young racing driver.

Adam, a member of the British Racing Drivers' Club, last raced at Silverstone GP circuit on June 9th and gained two solid 2nd places which strengthened his Championship lead by 44 points.

Adam Christodoulou said, 'I feel really privileged to be invited by Toyota F1, only six years ago when I became junior Karting Champion for the first time I would never had imagined that I'd be chosen amongst hundreds of potential racing drivers to be invited to an F1 test. This is a dream come true.'

Toyota F1 will give Adam full access and will be introduced to Toyotas Official F1 test drivers, who will run through the testing procedure of an F1 driver. This will include talks with the chief engineer and everything involved with an F1 test.

Andrew Kirkaldy, Team Director of Adam's team, CR Scuderia, said, 'With Adam's early lead in a Championship that has produced so many top F1 players, its no wonder an F1 team has expressed an interest so early. For a driver to be successful, it is obviously apparent that they need to be professional in all aspects of Motorsport in and out of the car, this becomes more important year on year as they advance through the formulas. This is a perfect opportunity for Adam to be introduced to an F1 team and get a grip with what its like at the top of his game.'

It was about ten years ago I last used Linux so it did take me a while to get Apache, PHP, MySQL and FTP set up properly and importing the d...
