Women in the Winners Circle Awards

Natalie went back to Indianapolis July 23rd for the 7th Annual Women in the Winners Circle Awards ceremony where she was a featured driver. The event is organized by Lyn St. James and celebrates the diversity and the successes of women in motorsports. It was held at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway. Natalie had the opportunity to attend a meet and greet with racing industry leaders like Mike Helton, President of NASCAR, and fellow women racers including Sarah Fisher and Melanie Troxel. Natalie was also introduced on stage as one of the five women racers who received Project Podium Grants from the WWCF. Jamie Little of ESPN introduced Natalie and noted she used the money to win the TAG Jr. Championship for ‘08 in the SKUSA Central States Challenge Series. ...

Big 100 for Natalie Fenaroli

Natalie raced in her 100th main in June in Quincy, IL. She has more than 270 finishes now (qualifying races, prefinal races etc). Fittingly, it was her first time in a shifter kart. It took her a couple tries to get the standing start clutch brake gas gear thing in the right sequence, but in the main she got it right. She had good lap times and now will work on consistency and driving mechanics. The shifter kart is a very different style of racing. She was very excited at how well the main went. It was a great weekend and a new beginning with many great challenges to come. To celebrate, a week later family and friends met up at 75TH Street Brewery in Kansas City and surprised Natalie with a little party.
