 New Zealand’s youngest ever national motorsport champion Andre Heimgartner will make his touring car debut in the high powered world of V8 SuperTourer racing next season in a deal announced today.
Heimgartner, from East Auckland, will drive a second Holden Commodore VE II V8 SuperTourer for the multi-championship winning AV8 Motorsport team as team mate to veteran V8 racer and two time NZV8 champion Andy Booth.

 The present 2011 New Zealand Formula Ford Championship leader, Andre Heimgartner, today took his first ride onboard the Team BRM prepared, Mygale SJ09A, ahead of Round 1 of the Australian Formula Ford Championship at the Clipsal 500 on the streets of Adelaide next week, March 17-20.
