Brendon Hartley took a stunning third place finish for Carlin Motorsport today, in the 55th Macau Grand Prix. The Red Bull driver battled his way through the field from 20th position on the grid to take the final podium spot. Fellow Red Bull Jaime Alguersuari was running in a competitive second place, until a drive-through penalty pushed him down the order. British F3 champions Carlin Motorsport will take a four strong driver line-up to the 55th Macau Grand Prix next month. Carlin Motorsport are guaranteed a 1-2-3 finish in the 2008 British F3 standings, following an exciting victory by Jaime Alguersuari at the penultimate round of the season at Donington Park. Carlin Motorsport made a strong start to the British F3 season finale yesterday, as Brendon Hartley set the fastest time of the day in the morning session with championship leader Oliver Turvey setting the fastest time in the afternoon session. Carlin Motorsport will head to the 2008 British F3 International Series finale this weekend with three of its drivers in the running for the title. Racing Steps Foundation driver Oliver Turvey currently leads the championship, ahead of Red Bull drivers Jaime Alguersuari and Brendon Hartley.
