P1 Groupe would like to congratulate Abdul Aziz Al Yaeesh and Fahad Hizam in bringing home the Team Championship for P1-AFR in the 2008 Chevy Lumina CSV Middle Eastern Championship. Both Abdul Aziz and Fahad had excellent seasons, with great displays of both tenacity and teamwork as they brought Team P1 AFR and UMA Motorsports to the top of the standings with 200 points, taking the title despite a strong year-long showing from contenders Lechner Racing Bahrain, who finished second in the Teams Championship with 197 points. UMA/P1-AFR Drivers Abdul Aziz Al Yaeesh and Fahad Hizam went into the 4th round of the Chevy Lumina CSV Championship looking for more of the success that they have had during the first half of the season. The competition was expectedly fierce, but both UMA/P1 AFR drivers felt that they were up for the challenge. Going into the latest rounds at the Dubai Autodrome for the 2007-08 Lumina CSV Series, UMA Motor Sports/P1 AFR was gaining ground on the Championship leaders, and the latest results moved them even closer. Going into Round 3 and 4 at the Dubai Autodrome for the 2007 Lumina CSV Series, UMA Motor Sports/P1 AFR stood second in the team points championship with its driving tandem of A.Aziz Al Ya'eesh and Fahad Hizam in 5th and 6th respectfully in the drivers points championship. The drivers were very determined and focused going into Dubai and it showed in the final results for the weekend. After the first two rounds of the Lumina CSV Series that took place at the Bahrain International Circuit, UMA Motor Sports/P1 AFR stands second in the team points championship with it’s driving tandem of A.Aziz Al Ya’eesh and Fahad Hizam in 5th and 6th respectfully in the drivers points championship.
