Henki Waldschmidt news

Waldschmidt one step from the podium in both races at Estoril

Formula Renault 2.0 Eurocup.

Prema, one step from the podium. Henki Waldschmidt, in both races of the F.Renault 2.0 Eurocup held last weekend at the circuit of Estoril, penultimate race of the season, obtained two very positive fourth positions which were a boost after this negative period. Waldschmidt who qualified fifth (and fourth for race 2) disputed two decisively strong races, at the levels of the beginning of the Championship. However, things went worse for Martin Plowman and Andrea Caldarelli, who both had engine and set up issues. The Brit, who started from the te... » Read more

All three cars in the points at Monza

Formula Renault 2.0 Italy.

Two races, three cars in the points. The last meeting of the Formula Renault 2.0 Italia couldn't have been better for the Team Prema. On the fast track of Monza, the crisis period seems to have terminated. All three drivers (Andrea Caldarelli, Martin Plowman, Henki Waldschmidt) of the Team directed on track by Grazia Troncon were always performing equally, since the qualifying session. The three Prema cars were positioned on the grid for Race 1 in fifth and sixth rows, with Plowman ninth, Caldarelli tenth and Waldschmidt eleventh. Race 1 was... » Read more

The Formula Renault 2.0 Italia series carries on its journey away from home when it visits the Spanish track of Valencia. This is the first time that the series will race on the track that is normally used as a winter test track by the F1 teams. On an interesting note, the race will take place the same weekend as Sailings biggest prize, the 2007 America's Cup Final. Prema is currently sitting in provisional first and second in the championship. Henkie Waldschmidt is still in command of the class, but the Dutch driver hopes to not have a repeat... » Read more

The Formula Renault Eurocup was back in action for a two day test at Magny-Cours. The French circuit is due to host a round of the Eurocup later in the year in September. The tests were frequently interupted by rain, but this didn't stop the drivers from making the most out of the dry conditions. Prema Powerteam were consistently among the front runners, with Henkie Waldscmidt finishing with the second fastest time overall. Good work also by Martin Plowman who made a big improvement consistently running inside the top 10 and who ran strongly on... » Read more

A small bug fix
November 14 2008
Fixed a small bug today that's been visible on the driver's career details pages. Up until now the text "Complete results needed" were always shown for non-championship races eventhough race, pole, podium and fastest lap were reported. A bit confusing really - but now we should be rid of it (unless ...
