Molina wins for Prema at Estoril

World Series by Renault.
The weekend experienced at Estoril by Prema Powerteam will be remembered like an unforgettable experience. After the 2nd place scored by Alvaro Barba on Saturday, Miguel Molina cruised to victory thanks to an outstanding team performance. The Catalan driver took the second win of the season for the Italian team, after a penalty assessed to a rival handed them the top spot on the podium at Nurburgring. Molina made a great job as he let Charles Pic go on the opening lap, knowing that a different strategy would have given him a clear advantage. Wh... » Read morePole position and podium for Prema

Just 24 hours later, Race 2 handed the Italian team a much-deserved win, and a double podium finish. The determination of all the staff was incredibly high, and the chances for the team directed b... » Read moreTerrific qualifying but a disappointing race

The balance of the day for Prema Powertam featured a terrific performance in qualifying and a disappointing Race 1 at the Nurburgring. The up-and-down Saturday started with the admission of both Alvaro Barba and Miguel Molina to the Super Pole session, as they ranked among the top-6 of their respective groups. The two Spaniards then repeated in the final segment, as Barba took third place, immediately followed by his team-mate, with small gaps from Polesitter Giedo Van Der Garde. Under the current regulations, they clinched the 2nd row fo Race ... » Read moreThird podium of the season for Prema Powerteam

World Series by Renault.
Prema Powerteam respected expectations in the fifth roud of the World Series Renault at Budapest. The good results scored in the free practice sessions, with both the team's cars staying in the leading pack were confirmed since qualifying: Alvaro Barba and Miguel Molina successfully made it to the Superpole session, scheduled for Saturday Morning.
