Räikkönen Robertson Racing has announced its driver line-up for the 2008 Macau Grand Prix. The British F3 team, who won the prestigious race in 2006 with Mike Conway, will head to Macau with the team’s British F3 driver Atte Mustonen, Formula Nippon racer Roberto Streit and Macau local Michael Ho. The Double R team, who won the race in only their second year with then British F3 champion Mike Conway, have a strong reputation around the Guia circuit. Räikkönen Robertson Racing drivers Atte Mustonen and John Martin both recorded top ten finishes today, at the Silverstone round of the 2008 British F3 International Series. Martin led home the squad in race one, finishing sixth while Mustonen and Arundel finished 10th and 12th. Mustonen was the first Double R driver across the line in race two, finishing fifth with Martin seventh and Arundel 15th. The 2008 British F3 International Series continues this week, with rounds 17 and 18 at the Silverstone circuit in Northamptonshire. Räikkönen Robertson Racing enjoyed a strong finish to the RTL GP Masters of F3 Zolder this weekend, as Atte Mustonen made up for a difficult qualifying session for the team by fighting his way up to sixth place from 24th on the grid. Team mate Henry Arundel also put in a strong performance, making up 20 places to finish 13th on his first visit to the F3 Masters. A tyre gamble saw John Martin finish in 23rd place. The Räikkönen Robertson Racing F3 team made a strong start to its RTL GP Masters of F3 Zolder campaign today, despite torrential rain hampering the progress of the F3 teams. British F3 race winner Atte Mustonen was on the pace to set the second fastest time of the day, while Australian John Martin was consistently in the top ten in the first session.
