A disappointing end to the season for Prema

Formula 3 Euroseries.
The last seasonal meeting of the F3 Euroseries , held on the circuit of Hockenheim in front of a hundred and fifty thousand spectators, brought more disappointing results than expected for Prema Powerteam. A technical problem (a pebble stuck in the suspension) prevented Renger Van der Zande from a result above ninth in qualifying. Once the inconvenience was resolved, the Ducth driver was forced to retire due to a gearbox failure in the first stages of race 1 on Saturday. In Sunday's race, he managed to finish in eleventh position, starting from... » Read moreNo luck at Nogaro for the Prema drivers

Formula 3 Euroseries.
At the penultimate seasonal meeting of the F3 Euroseries, Prema Powerteam was confirmed as one of the most competitive teams of the Championship. After an eventful qualifying session characterized by two red flags and traffic, Renger Van der Zande obtained the ninth chronometric time. The Dutch driver, author of a good start unfortunately spun as he touched a slippery white stripe on the track. What a disappointment since he was in seventh position and therefore would have started race 2 from the first row. The race on Sunday was consequently c... » Read morePrema Powerteam's Nürburgring race preview

Formula 3 Euroseries.
The F.3 Euro Series is ready to face the seventh scheduled seasonal event. The host of the series' cars will be the very long and incredibly fascinating historical circuit of Nurburgring, located in the northern western part of Germany in the famous Eifel region. Prema will be present at Nurburgring with it's drivers Michael Patrizi and Renger Van der Zande, who will drive the Dallara 307 Mercedes. The Vicenza based Team is intentioned to maintain the positive results obtained from the Dutch driver, in the points at Mugello and Zandvoor... » Read moreMasters of Formula 3 - Race round up by Prema Powerteam

Masters of F3.
Prema Powerteam returns from the "Zandvoort Masters of Formula 3 @ Zolder" with a result that doesn't illustrate the real potential of the Vicenza based Team during the most important European race of the category. After obtaining the seventh chronometric time in qualifying, Renger van der Zande finished the race in fifth position but due to an unfair judgment from the stewards of the meeting, he was retrocede to ninth position. Michael Patrizi was the victim of an incident during the alignment laps after a contact with an opponent and could... » Read moreQualifying report Zolder

Masters of F3.
Prema Powerteam has earned an important role in one of F3's most important races at a European level. After an impressive pre-qualifying session in the morning, Renger van der Zande confirmed his competitiveness by obtaining the seventh position over all. The Dutch driver who will start Sunday's race from the fourth row on the grid could have done even better without the yellow flags which slowed him down in the end of the session. Australian driver, Michael Patrizi, who races at the Belgian circuit for the first time, will start from the twel... » Read more

News, updates, bugs, tired ramblings, small breakdowns and other stuff related to maintaining, adding and expanding Driver Database.A small bug fix
November 14 2008
Fixed a small bug today that's been visible on the driver's career details pages. Up until now the text "Complete results needed" were always shown for non-championship races eventhough race, pole, podium and fastest lap were reported. A bit confusing really - but now we should be rid of it (unless ...
