Carlin test drivers Jaime Alguersuari and Oliver Turvey finished the final World Series test of 2008 as the top rookies today, following an impressive two day test around the Valencia circuit in Spain. Carlin consider options for World Series

As winter testing got underway for the Formula Renault 3.5 teams last week, Carlin Motorsport were able to consider its driver options for the 2009 season. The team’s British F3 racers Jaime Alguersuari and Oliver Turvey tested for Carlin at Paul Ricard this week, along with top Formula Renault Eurocup racer Daniel Ricciardo. British F3 champions Carlin Motorsport will take a four strong driver line-up to the 55th Macau Grand Prix next month. Carlin, who finished first, second and third in the 2008 British F3 International Series, will take newly crowned British F3 champion Jaime Alguersuari, Oliver Turvey and Brendon Hartley from its British F3 squad plus F3 front runner Marcus Ericsson. Carlin win British F3 title!

Carlin Motorsport are guaranteed a 1-2-3 finish in the 2008 British F3 standings, following an exciting victory by Jaime Alguersuari at the penultimate round of the season at Donington Park. Alguersuari led a Carlin podium lock-out, with Brendon Hartley a close second, having stayed close to his Red Bull team mate throughout the 30-minute race, while Championship leader Oliver Turvey saw his lead cut to three points as he crossed the line in third. Carlin on the pace at Donington

Carlin Motorsport made a strong start to the British F3 season finale yesterday, as Brendon Hartley set the fastest time of the day in the morning session with championship leader Oliver Turvey setting the fastest time in the afternoon session.
