Fariqe Hairuman set the pace in the early part of the Asian Touring Car Series Qualifying session on a cold morning at the Autopolis International Racing Circuit in Japan today. The Malaysian will start on pole with Japanese driver Masaki Kano flanking him at the start. Kano did not seem to be satisfied with his time, came in to pit to do minor adjustments and went back out but he could not better his time of 2:07.750, leaving a gap of four seconds. An exciting opening paved way to a good clean race in the Asian Touring Car Series Round 6 at Chengdu Goldenport Circuit.
