Carlin’s Formula Renault 3.5 team ended the 2008 World Series on a high this weekend, as Red Bull drivers Robert Wickens and Mikhail Aleshin grasped three podiums between them in Barcelona. Carlin Motorsport endured a difficult second race at Le Mans this weekend, despite a strong fourth place for Red Bull driver Mikhail Aleshin. Robert Wickens was forced to start the race from the pit lane following a clutch problem, dispelling any changes of a points paying finish. Carlin Motorsport enjoyed a strong start to the Le Mans round of the 2008 World Series by Renault 3.5 today. At a cloudy and wet Le Mans circuit in northern France, Red Bull drivers Mikhail Aleshin and Robert Wickens prepared for Saturday’s qualifying session.
