Great First Test!

Written by Scott Malvern. Thursday, March 11 2010.

I finally got behind the wheel of my new car with which we hope to compete this season in the MSA Formula Ford Championship of Great Britain and I have to say what a fantastic job Gavin Ray & Raysport have done building it and Cliff Dempsey have done preparing it and we musn’t forget [...]

Ginetta Scholarship Final

Written by Matt Cherrington. Monday, March 8 2010.

Really quick update today. Yesterday I received the call from Steve at Racing Perfection to say I had made it into the Ginetta Scholarship Final! The event is to be held at Teesside Autodrome again, this coming Friday (12th). The format is a mixture of track assessment and interviews on and off camera, and there maybe a [...]

Testing Cancelled But Deal Done!

Written by Cassey Watson. Saturday, March 6 2010.

My test in an Abarth on the 22nd February was cancelled due to snow at Silverstone so I am still yet to drive one of the cars, however they look fantastic! In the meantime work has continued on bringing a deal together and yesterday I attended a meeting at the Fiat Group Building where I received [...]

Racing Perfection Ginetta Scholarship

Written by Matt Cherrington. Thursday, March 4 2010.

Hi everyone, Last time I blogged I talked about general plans for 2010, but some of you may have noticed that it contained little detail on what I am to be driving this year. At the moment that is a bit of an unknown as I have decided to concentrate on the business side of racing [...]

Deal Done and Dusted!

Written by Rory Butcher. Tuesday, March 2 2010.

The deal is done. The contracts are all signed and I can tell you that I will be tackling the British GT Championship this season. I have joined former British GT champions ABG Motorsport and will be driving a stunning KTM X-Bow along with Ben Harvey. The chance really came out of the blue, but I was [...]

If you are working with several drivers or teams and would like to get your press releases published, send an email (look at the contact page) and we'll sort something out.

Changes to the publishing of press releases

Published 2010-01-11 14:34:15
As you might have noticed there’s been very few news items published lately. That’s because I’m currently working on some major changes to Driver Database. In short, I can no longer spend a few hours per day adding press releases to drivers and companies for free. During 2010 and beyond the publishing of press releases for drivers, teams and other companies will only be made for people with premier driver or company accounts. Details on that will follow later. The premier driver accounts will have lots of other goodies as well... :)...

Raed dominant in the desert at Zain Reem

Published 2010-01-08 13:08:29

DSC_9491The V8 Championship moved onto Round 3 which was to be held at the Al-ReemCircuit in Saudi Arabia. It was to be the first high-profile event to be held at the circuit and of course was the first race for Meezer Racing in their home country.

Meezer Racing Driver Coach Malcolm Edeson had already done some laps of the circuit so knew what to expect "it’s very technical and very different to anything else in the Middle-East, the cambers and elevation changes will be a real challenge for all drivers"

Published 2009-12-14 07:28:58
Supercars MEBahraini Raed Raffii, representing leading motorsport solutions specialists Meezer Group, showed his unlimited potential over the past weekend by taking a double podium, including a fantastic victory, in the second round of the Chevrolet Supercars Middle East Championship at Bahrain International Circuit (BIC). Raed, sponsored by Tamooz and Batelco, upstaged the nearly 20-car field of more experienced regional talent with third place in race one and then a dominant win in race two. The 20-year-old was in fine form from the very moment he stepped into the car for the first session of practices on Frid...
