About Driver Database
The work on Driver Database started during the spring of 2004. From being a rather simple database of Formula 1 drivers it has over the years grown considerably, both in volume and mass.
Version 2 of the site was launched in 2006 and featured an updated design and more features.
Version 3 came to life on February 25th 2008 and is the biggest update to date with many new features including more detailed race results and better tools for submitting new information.
The development of Driver Database is a one-man project started by me, Andreas Åberg, using PHP as the scripting language and with mySQL as database software.

Please do not send in CV's, photos and information via email. Register an account at Driver Database and tools will become available to add statistics and photos to the database. If you send driver info via email it may take up to several months before I have time to look at it and submit it myself.

You need to be logged in to submit or edit new information and to send in photos. The signup process is quick, free and rather painless.

Please note that there is currently a queue for several hundred submissions to the database. All your submissions are saved so there is no need to re-submit anything, it only adds to the queue and adds to my confusion. I'm trying to get everything up as fast as I can. :) ...
